Queen Contestants

Caylin McCormick, freshman, Huron High School is the daughter of Jessica McCormick. Being active in her school and community, she is an actor with the Caryl Crane Youth Theatre who took their show to Atlanta, Georgia and won outstanding performance. She is a member in the band, choir, basketball and volleyball and volunteers for New Day, Admirals Pointe and makes cookies for the Huron Fire and Police Department. She sings in her church choir. Caylin was chosen over 3,000 people to go to New York to film a dance video. Last year in 8th grade, she won Student of the Year and received a music award. Caylin helps younger theatre actors to be the best that they can be and inspires younger people in church school to want to worship God.

Alaina Parkinson, junior, Huron High School, is the daughter of Elizabeth (Betsy) Johnson and Al Parkinson, Alaina is active in her school and her community. She was secretary of the Student Council as a freshman, a member of the School Chorale and the Troubadours, is a camp counselor for 4-H Erie County Camp, a member of Caryl Crane Youth Theatre as a singer, dancer and actor, a member of the Teen Board at CCYT, and is a member of the Theatre Competition Team. In her Huron community she donated her time to park and beach clean-up, visits and sings at nursing homes and is a concession stand volunteer. Alaina recently joined a band called “The Stereotypes” and is the lead singer. Alaina is on the Huron River Fest Court. She motivates and mentors younger theatre members and camp goers to be the best that they could possibly be.

Junior Queen Contestants

Grace Tang, 6th grade, Woodlands Intermediate School is the daughter of Lingzh: Zhou and Ming Chuan Tang. In the past 6 years, she has been competing in professional ballroom dancing such as Niagara Fall Dance Sport Championship, Toronta Open Dance Sport Championship, Embassy Ballroom Championship and Blackpool Junior Dance Sport Championship. She was a member of the Tiger Cheerleading in 2018 and now a member of Rose Gold Gymnastics, Rachel Challenge, Running Club and Choir at Woodlands. She enjoys crafts, art and drawing. Grace loves to read and is in the Summer Reading Program at the Huron Library which she won in 2018.

Riley Nicole Martin, 8th grade at McCormick Junior High School, is the daughter of Kyle Martin & Shanan Martini, Amanda Csizmadia. Riley has been in 4-H for 8 years and is the Vice President of that organization. She was in the court of the Jr. Miss Congeniality for Erie County Fair, has been in the band for 3 years, the choir for 2 years and the softball team for 3 years. She is a member of the Jr. High Cheer Team, Power of the Pen, Stem Club and Cross Country.

Princess Contestants

Ambrielle Harpel, 7 years old is the daughter of Arielle Shults and Mike Harpel. Ambrielle's favorite things are family and friends, going to Cedar Point, JOJO Siwa and Shopkins. 

Beatrice Tang, 5 years old and is the daughter of Lingzhi Zhou and Ming C. Tang. Beatrice loves to read, color, listen to music and jump rope. She takes gymnastics and enjoys her family and her sisters Grace and Jane.
